THE KEYS OF OPEN HEAVEN……LIVING UNDER AN OPEN HEAVEN

Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened, And the Holy Ghost, descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased.

Luke 3:21-22

I welcome you to this second half of this year which is our month of open heaven. Elijah, Moses and Jacob experienced open Heaven because God caused the Heaven to open over their life; likewise God is also committed to opening the Heaven over your life.

When the Heavens Opens over your life and God’s glory falls upon you, all that you need to do is to position yourself to receive him and soak yourself completely in His presence. As God opens up the Heaven over your life this month, He will do the impossible in our lives.

WHAT IS AN OPEN HEAVEN?

When Heavens are open, we mean having free access to everything in Heavenly realm, a free flow of God’s abundant grace in our life. When Heaven opens over our life, we mean God will be nearer to you and Heaven’s will be manifested naturally as it is in heaven,

And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God and Jesus answered and said unto him, blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven
And
I say also unto thee, that thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven:
And
whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Matthew 16: 16-19

Apostle Peter had an open Heaven experience whereby he had free access to Heaven to receive a revelation of who Jesus is. The keys to the Kingdom of Heaven have been given to all believers and this is the free access to the Kingdom of Heaven which is the Open Heaven experience.

In Isaiah 64: 1-3,

Oh that thou wouldest rend the heavens, that thou wouldest come down, that the mountains might flow down at thy presence. As when the meltiing fire burneth, the fire causeth the waters to boil, to make thy name known to thine adversaries, that the nations may tremble at thy presence! When thou didst terrible things which we looked not for, thou camest down, the mountains flowed down at thy presence.

Isaiah the prophet prayed for an open heaven and God answered him. God rend (tear down) the heavens over the Life of Isaiah the Prophet and, He had free access ( Revelations, Insights, Inspiration) to Heaven. He experienced open heaven over his life and this caused God’s presence to come down upon his life.

When God’s presence comes down upon your life, the mountains flow at His presence. Every obstacle is turned into miracles. A repeat of the manifestation of

When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange language; Judah was his sanctuary, and Israel his dominion.  The sea saw it, and fled: Jordan was driven back. The mountains skipped like rams, and the little hills like lambs. What ailed thee, O thou sea, that thou fleddest? Thou Jordan, that thou wastn’t driven back?Ye mountains, that ye skipped like rams; and ye little hills, like lambs?
Tremble,
thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob; which turned the rock into a standing water, the Flint into a fountain of waters.

Psalm 114:1-8

Psalm 114:1—8  over the life of the Children of Israel was what Isaiah the Prophet  wanted to experience in His life, and he prayed for God’s  presence in His Life and God answered him. God’s presence is the answer to all the obstacles of life

When the heaven opens for Jesus in Luke 3: 21-22 being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened, And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased.

Jesus lived under an open heaven and carried it wherever He went. If Jesus could not fulfil his messianic mandate until the heaven open, It means that we cannot fulfil our heavenly mandate without open heaven over our life.

And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

Matthew 3:16-17

The moment the heaven opened over Jesus, the power of God came down upon Jesus and begins to function in His life and ministry. This leads to show that for the power of God to function in our life, our heavens must be opened. The power of God is one of the fruits of an open heaven.

Jesus ministered in one of the hardest atmosphere in History, He battled constantly with tough spiritual climate affected by religious spirit and contaminated mind set. He needed an Open Heaven experience to fulfil the divine mandate over His life, Likewise us, we must operate under an open Heaven to fulfil the divine mandate over our life

HOW DID HE OVER COME THIS?

It was the open heaven experience that released the power of God over the life and ministry of Jesus. Without the power of God that comes from an open heaven, we cannot over come demonic hostility against our destinies.

So we need an open heaven experience in this second half of this year to over come all obstacles on our way to a fulfil destiny, just  as Isaiah and Jesus did.

It is time to pursue our open heaven in this second half of the year, so that we can receive the power to fulfil our destiny this  year.

WHAT ARE THE KEYS TO THE OPEN HEAVEN

  • Pray for Holy hunger….., Luke 6:21
  • Repentance and Obedience….., Matthew 3: 16—17, Deuteronomy 28 :1
  • Prayer and Fasting….., 2 Chronicles 7 :14
  • Tithe and Offering…., Malachi 3: 10—12

If you pursue these four keys, I am sure we will arrive at our open heaven. May the fruit of Open heaven manifest in your life throughout this second half of the year

BLESSINGS OF ‘’DIVINE ENCOUNTER’’

One encounter with God is more than a life time of effort and struggle. In fact it is good to say ‘’Divine encounter is the cure for the struggle of life’’.

In Genesis 32:24—30, So Jacob was left alone, and a man wrestled with him till daybreak. 25When the man saw that he could not overpower him, he touched the socket of Jacob’s hip so that his hip was wrenched as he wrestled with the man. 26Then the man said, “Let me go, for it is daybreak.”But Jacob replied, “I will not let you go unless you bless me.”27The man asked him, “What is your name?”“Jacob,” he answered.28Then the man said, “Your name will no longer be Jacob, but Israel,e because you have struggled with God and with men and have overcome.”29Jacob said, “Please tell me your name.”But he replied, “Why do you ask my name?” Then he blessed him there.30So Jacob called the place Peniel,f saying, “It is because I saw God face to face, and yet my life was spared.”

In the above bible verses, we saw how Jacob who was left alone encountered God when he was left alone. This singular encounter changed the identity and capacity of Jacob.

In Matthew 25:15, And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey

Your capacity determines how much God can put in your hand, i.e. what you can handle. Jacob, because of the capacity he could handle was transformed from being a person to a nation, from an individual to an institution.

In Genesis 32: 28 28Then the man said, “Your name will no longer be Jacob, but Israel,e because you have struggled with God and with men and have overcome, Jacob prevailed in the encounter he had with God. It is by our divine encounter that we prevail over all the struggles of life. Just as Jacob prevailed in the encounter with God and experienced a change in identity and capacity, likewise we should expect the same encounter with God this Month of June. The anointing to prevail over the struggles of life is released in our encounter with God. So we should go for it in this month of June

In every encounter with God, you can never be defeated again by man or devils. Every encounter turns your darkness into light, your weakness into strength, curses into blessing, poverty into success, Lack into Abundance etc

All we need is an encounter; just one encounter with God, where you will encounter God’s power and victory over your personal Esau. This is where the battle over your life is won.

In Exodus 3: 1—4, Now Moses was tending the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian, and he led the flock to the far side of the desert and came to Horeb, the mountain of God. 2There the angel of the LORD appeared to him in flames of fire from within a bush. Moses saw that though the bush was on fire it did not burn up. 3So Moses thought, “I will go over and see this strange sight—why the bush does not burn up.”4When the LORD saw that he had gone over to look, God called to him from within the bush, “Moses! Moses!”And Moses said, “Here I am.”

We see how Moses encounter with God turned his destiny around. This encounter with God produced 7 profound transformations in the life of Moses.

  • It turned him from been a Wanderer into a Deliverer
  • Fugitive to a Leader of people
  • God anointed Moses with Such a great power that made the whole Nation to experience God
  • It fought against Moses enemies and destroyed them. It turned Moses pursuer to flight.
  • It gave Moses a place in the history of men and changed his nameless life into a great name among men
  • It gave Moses access to knowledge beyond natural understanding. He knew things he could not have learnt in school. Moses was not there when the earth was created, yet he wrote the history of creation in the first five books of the bible as if he was there. It was the same Moses that wrote about Jacob’s encounter with God.
  • It made Moses’ life to count in his generation and generations after him.

Every encounter leads to transformation, so in this month of Divine Encounter, we should desire an encounter with God and seek Him with all your heart. As the encounter transformed Moses when he encountered God, likewise, your life will be transformed with an encounter with God this month. The Lord will visit you as you spend quality time in His presence seeking His face. Amen

Remain blessed.

THE POWER OF KNOWING GOD

Paul writing to the Philippians church In Philippians 3:10 said that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

Apostle Paul’s letter to the Philippians Church showed his heart desire. He wrote half of the New Testament scriptures. He had several encounters with the master and yet he still wrote that ‘’I might know Him.

One might ask what propels Apostle Paul desire to know the Lord Jesus more even with all the revelations and encounters during his life time and ministry. It becomes very clear that every encounter of God leaves you with more hunger to know Him more. The more God reveals Himself to you; the hunger to know Him more will increase.

In Romans 11:33: O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!

The depth to which you know the Lord Jesus, to that dept you will operate. Understanding God and knowing Him intimately will affect every aspect of our life. Brethren, there is a power release upon us when we set our heart to know God, and this power is power of His resurrection which is the power that has the capacity to go back to the dark ages of your life and cause changes to your life. This is a creative power.

In Matthew 16:18 And I say also unto thee, that thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Proximity does not mean revelation. It shows that we cannot know God by explanation but by revelation. It can only take God to reveal Jesus to his Children. How much of God you know determines the strength of the Rock you have built upon. How much of God you know determine how much of the Rock (Revelation) you have. It is upon this Rock that God will build. This Rock is the revelation you have received from God. You can build your marriage, Life, business, jobs etc upon this Rock of revelation you have received of God.

It is the understanding of God you have; you will use to build your destiny. Without an encounter with God, you will not build and every house built will be tasted. The Revelation that God gives you is the Rock upon which you will built

Brothers and Sisters, are you going through trials? Is that issue giving you sleepless night? Do you feel that there is no way out anymore? Are you going through marital problems or are your children becoming uncontrollable? What about your finances?

Look, there is a solution and the solution is God. If only you can seek to know God and the Power of His resurrection, you will be in control of your life as God will release the anointing(power) to overcome every situation that is fighting your destiny.

I will like you to get the CD and DVD and listen to the full message and watch what God will do in your life. This is an excerpt from the message.

Remain blessed as you read.

KNOWING GOD AND THE POWER OF HIS RESSURRECTION

Knowing God and The Power of His resurrection should be the focus of every child of God. This is what will usher us into our realm of victorious living in all aspect of our life.  Jesus Christ made this clear to His disciples about the importance of been anointed with power in their lives.

In Acts 1:6—8, the Bible When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? 7And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.8But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

When your name is written in the book of life, then you qualified to be filled with power. Please note that a Christian without power is subjected into captivity by the forces of hell. Powerlessness in the life of a Christian leads to captivity, intimidation, limitations; your glorious destiny is deemed to be terminated by Satan.

We should not forget that the enemy has three fold ministries and this is to terminate the works and plan of God for our lives and this is why we should seek the face of God to know Him and understand the power that is available to every child of God.

Limitations in the life of every believer are due to Lack of Power, we struggle in all areas of our life and this is because we lack power. The activities of the enemy in the life of a believer is because the power of God is absent in our lives. We need power to excel in life. The prevailing life is the life that is endued with power from God.

Looking at Acts 1:6, The Apostles asked the Lord when will the Kingdom be restored to Israel, which means they were asking about the Economy of Israel, Breakthrough in their life, Success in every area of their life but the Lord Jesus told that what they need is power and this power is the anointing of the Holy Spirit.  And what is Power?  Power is the release by the Holy Spirit the divine capacity and capability to do exploit.

We cannot succeed in life as a Christian without power. We need power to excel in any area of our life.

HOW CAN WE RECEIVE THIS POWER?

To receive the power of God, you must be:

1) be Born Again.

2) You must seek the face of God through Prayers

These are to enable you to know God by yourself through relationship and, in so doing, the anointing of the Holy Spirit will be released upon you to live a glorious life

Remain Blessed as you read.

TRANSFORMED BY HIS (GOD’S) GLORY

I welcome you to the 5th month of this year. The month of His glory, we saw in the book of Exodus 33:18 And he said, I beseech thee, show me thy glory. Here Moses had a deep encounter with God Moses asked the Lord to show Him His Glory. He could have asked for material things but he chose something better than material blessings .He asked God to show him all his attributes .Exodus 34:29 And it came to pass, when Moses came down from mount Sinai with the two tables of testimony in Moses’ hand, when he came down from the mount, that Moses wist not that the skin of his face shone while he talked with him.

This act of God by showing His attributes to Moses is to let us know that it is the desires of the Father of glory to reveal His glory to us if we ask for it.  We can begin to see the glory of God reflected in Jesus Christ’s face as we receive Spiritual light from the Holy Spirit.

Why? This is because the Glory of God is fully revealed in Jesus, The son God who is the brightest of His Glory. Hebrew 1: 3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high and the exact representation of His being…the personality of God.

In Habakkuk 2:14 for the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea. How much of the Knowledge of the Glory of God we discover depends to a great extent on our personal search for it. God’s words reveal that contact with God’s Glory put us in touch with God Himself.

God commanded light to shine in darkness at creation as stated in Genesis 1: 3, And God said, let there be light: and there was light. His plans is to turn on the light of His Glory to shine in our heart so as to give light of His Glory in the face of Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 4:6 said ‘For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ

This is God’s plans for those that will seek this dimension. The knowledge of the glory of God can only be experienced by those who seek the face of Jesus Christ. To seek the Glory of God is to seek the face of God Himself.

As we seek a close intimacy with God, we are espoused to his word (Jesus Christ); the Holy Spirit shows God’s face (Glory), as 2 Corinthians 3:18 stated, ‘But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. When we are espoused to His word, the Holy Spirit shows God’s face (Glory). This brings about transformation (change). The Glory of God brings about transformational changes. This is why David cried out in Psalm 63:2 to see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.

In Exodus 33: 14—23 and he said, my presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest. 15And he said unto him, If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence. 16For wherein shall it be known here that I and thy people have found grace in thy sight? is it not in that thou goest with us? so shall we be separated, I and thy people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth.

17And the LORD said unto Moses, I will do this thing also that thou hast spoken: for thou hast found grace in my sight, and I know thee by name. 18And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory. 19And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy. 20And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live. 21And the LORD said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock: 22And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by: 23And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen. Moses cried out to the Lord and requested for God’s presence to go with them. For without God’s presence they cannot advance further. The Lord granted Moses His request for His presence and His presence went with them.

When God granted Moses his request, he (Moses) proceeded to a higher dimension of God’s Glory. (Exodus 33:18 18and he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory.) Moses cried out to God for something more than experience, that is the Glory of God. He has tasted God’s wonders, signs and miracles. He saw the fire of God and Manna’s from heaven, yet he opted for something bigger than all these experiences.

When others were asking God for bread, Moses was asking God for His Glory, while the Children of Israel cried out to God for physical possession, Moses was asking for Heavenly treasures.

In other word, Moses asked for more of God while the children of Israel asked for bread. His heart wish was to seek God Himself, He longed for a good knowledge of His Glory as Exodus 33: 20,20And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live. God told Moses that he cannot see his face but Moses was content with the back of God. He was given a partial revelation of God’s Glory because there was not yet a perfect sacrifice that will allow a perfect fellowship with God, yet this partial vision encounter with God transformed Moses that his face shone. He face was radiant with God’s Glory. As in Exodus 34:29 stated, And it came to pass, when Moses came down from mount Sinai with the two tables of testimony in Moses’ hand, when he came down from the mount, that Moses wist not that the skin of his face shone while he talked with him.

When we look at the impact of this Glory on Moses and the people, we conclude that if this partial encounter could make such an impact on the people that they feared and asked Moses to cover his face, then how much more Glory are we to behold if we look up to Jesus Christ.

By beholding the backside of God, Moses was transformed. It was this proximity to His Glory that transformed his appearance.

In Acts 4:13, now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them that they had been with Jesus. As Peter and John were defending Christ at the Council about the great wonders that was done by God through them. The amazing thing is that they took knowledge that they had been with Christ (Lord of Glory).ISN’T IT TIME PEOPLE SEE US AND SAY THE SAME THING. They knew that they were uneducated and untrained but took notice that they had been with the Lord Jesus Christ.

Genuine association with the Lord Jesus Christ robs off on us and causes a transformation in our lives. So as children of God, we can make an impact in this world, if we can only spend time in the presence of His Glory. God’s Glory is found on the face of Jesus Christ. Should we not go after it?

God‘s wants to make His face to shine upon us and He told the Priest to bless His people with this verse of scripture, Number 6:24—26, 24The LORD bless thee, and keep thee:25The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:26The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.

David knew the importance of God’s face shinning on you as Psalm 143:7—8, stated, Hear me speedily, O LORD: my spirit faileth: hide not thy face from me, lest I be like unto them that go down into the pit.8Cause me to hear thy loving-kindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee. The lack of God’s face is the reason things are dying around us.

You cannot encounter God’s face and live a pitiable life. The reason for problem is that God hides His face from us. The answer to our entire problem is an encounter with His face in Glory.

I believe that in this month of May, we will experience His Glory. How do we encounter God’s Glory?

  • Ask God for it…..Acts 7:7
  • Demonstrate your desperation and hunger for God….Psalm 63:2
  • You can praise your way into it
  • By the word…..2 Corinthians 3:18

And throughout this month, we will be exploring on the Glory of God and, the Father of Glory will give us an encounter with the Lord of Glory.

Shalom

The Journey of Intimacy with God

You are welcome to this month of April, the month we will be embarking on a journey of intimacy with God. I will like to let us know that God has given us an open invitation to draw near to Him. James 4:8: daw nigh to God and he will draw nigh to you.

In this case, who draw near first, we or God. We are the one to initiate the drawing near first. This actually means that there is something you will have initiate for the Almighty God, the creator of the universe to draw near to you. We are the one to determine our relationship with God and not God.

God is passionate about us drawing near to Him. In Exodus 34:14, you must worship no other gods, for the LORD, whose very name is Jealous, is a God who is jealous about his relationship with you. (NLT). He passionately desires the relationship with us with jealous.

Again in James 4:5 what do you think the Scriptures mean when they say that the spirit God has placed within us is filled with envy? (NLT) The Spirit of God in us yearns for fellowship. This can be seen clearly when God brought the children of Israel out of the Land of Egypt and Instructed Moses to bring them to mount Sinai for an encounter with Him in Exodus 20:18-22, 18 when the people saw the thunder and lightning and heard the trumpet and saw the mountain in smoke, they trembled with fear. They stayed at a distance 19 and said to Moses, “Speak to us yourself and we will listen. But do not have God speak to us or we will die.” 20 Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. God has come to test you, so that the fear of God will be with you to keep you from sinning.” 21 The people remained at a distance, while Moses approached the thick darkness where God was. 22 Then the LORD said to Moses, “Tell the Israelites this: ‘you have seen for yourselves that I have spoken to you from heaven:

God is intensely in pursuit of His Children to restore us back to the glorious life that Adam tasted and lost in the beginning at the garden, but the level of relationship is determined by us and not God. We determine how close or intimate we want to get with God. Let’s look at the contrast of attitude and behavioural pattern of the children of Israel and Moses.

The book of Exodus opened up with the children of Israel suffering for 430years in Egypt under captivity. They prayed for God to send them deliverance and God sent them a deliverer in the person of Moses in answers to their prayers. God delivered them out of Egypt.

The children of Israel went through a lot of suffering under the Egyptians/ Pharaoh Taskmasters, Their backs were scared by the whippings of the Pharaoh Taskmasters, their houses were slums and their food s were left over. Though they suffered all these cruelty, they were quick to forget them.

When God delivered them out the land of Egypt, it happened that whenever things went wrong, they will regret their deliverance from Egypt and mock their prayer of deliverance and said it was better to go back to Egypt, (Numbers 14:4, 4 And they said to each other, “We should choose a leader and go back to Egypt.”)

But not Moses, who never thought of returning back to Egypt, He was the one for whom the conditions were better in Egypt. He was raised in the Palace; He lived in the best, ate the best, wore the best and was taught by the best. He willingly left all these behind, unlike the children of Israel

The difference between Moses and the children of Israel is that Moses had a personal encounter with God. In Exodus 3:2-5, there the angel of the LORD appeared to him in flames of fire from within a bush. Moses saw that though the bush was on fire it did not burn up. 3 So Moses thought, “I will go over and see this strange sight–why the bush does not burn up.” 4 When the LORD saw that he had gone over to look, God called to him from within the bush, “Moses! Moses!” And Moses said, “Here I am.” 5“Do not come any closer,” God said. “Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.”

He saw the burning bush and drew near to it. He met the living God on Mount Sinai but the children of Israel did not. When the Lord called Moses aside, he drew near and, when the Children of Israel were presented with a more excellent opportunity, they drew back, (Exodus 20:18-21). He wanted to give them an experience like the one Moses had, so that they will never think of going back to Egypt, but they drew back. We can see that God is passionately yearning to have a relationship with us only if we draw near to Him.

The question often asked is, where was Moses bringing the Children of Israel to when they left Egypt. The normal response has always been’’ the promise land’’, but this is not really the truth. In Exodus 7:16 then say to him, ‘The Lord, the God of the Hebrews, has sent me to say to you: Let my people go, so that they may worship me in the desert. But until now you have not listened.

The Bible made us to understand that it was primarily to worship the Lord and not to inherit the Land. God wanted them to come and meet with Him. He wants them to draw near to Him so that he can establish an intimate relationship with them. Exodus 19:4 you yourselves have seen what I did to Egypt, and how I carried you on eagles’ wings and brought you to myself. tells us that God wanted to bring them to Himself so as to establish a relationship with the children of Israel.

Why did Moses take the children of Israel to meet with God first before bringing them to the promise land? God knew that if Moses had brought them to the promise land, they would have loved the Promised Land more than God that promised. Moses could not wait to bring them to the very place he met with God because he knew that God wants his people to have a personal encounter with Him and to have the same experience that he, Moses had with Him. ONLY THOSE THAT HAVE AN ENCOUNTER WITH THE PROMISER WILL EXPERIENCE THE PROMISE LAND

A person that emphasises the blessing of God to the neglect of the relationship with God that blesses creates disciples who come to God for something rather than responding to Him for who He is.

Moses, when he encountered God, all the promises of God for his life fell into their proper places. God’s yearning for intimacy with His people has never decreased or changed. This desire is constantly revealed in His word and, is reflected in Paul’s letter to the Ephesians Church in Ephesians 1:17, I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. God desires from the prayer of Paul for every child of His is to know Him deeply and intimately. God’s interest in His people is for them to come nearer to Him.

In this season of Easter, God is calling us to draw nearer to Him. He is focusing on intimacy.  I want to appeal to our readers that it is time to respond to this call of intimacy.

God bless you!
