WOMEN’S MINISTRY OBJECTIVES
- To help the women release their potential in God as part of the church operation. Women after the kind of Deborah who even as a wife was able to realise her potential Judges 4;4-5.
- The objective of this women’s ministry is to enable the women to have a greater relationship with God through the practical application of the word of God and prayer. Jesus’ meeting with the Samaritan woman reveals to us that it is possible to break barriers, tradition, culture to the realm of worship. It also reveals there is nothing hidden about me to you lord ,but you remain a wonder to me. See John 4;21-26.
- Through this women’s ministry, every woman is empowered to have the Godly concept of who she is in Christ, as a virtuous woman, and/or mother, and/or wife.
- The arm of this ministry is for women to impact their world by taking part in the spiritual, economical and social development of their family, community and in the corporate world. Proverbs 31.
- It is our objective to tell the world about Jesus by living as an example that the world can see and have the same experience. John 4:28-29
- It is a place where all levels of young ladies are prepared and challenged spiritually, mentally and socially to take responsibility so as to become who God wants them to be. All young ladies are encouraged to live an examplary life within and outside the church as the light of the world. Mathew 5:14
- It is our mandate to glorify Jesus by advancing his kingdom by being good ambassadors of Christ any where we go. You are welcome to this team of victorious sisters.
Brief word for you:
Reader, whatever you have been through do not forget who you are in God. It is a blessing to be a woman. It is a privilege to serve in the position that God places us as a woman, wife, mother. Upholding your Godly values as women that fear God by obeying his word, and doing the right thing in your life, and in your families and even in the society., despite what life may throw at you, clearly defines your purpose as a woman. There is a reward that follows according to Proverbs 13;13 “whoso despise the word shall be destroyed; but he that feareth the commandment shall be rewarded”. The benefit comes when you know your purpose, love the way God created you, then the blessing of peace, love, and joy will be your portion.
Do not allow life events to dictate the way you see and live your life as woman because life circumstances are subject to change but the word of God is unchangeable. Hanging on trying situations can play on your emotions but holding on to Jesus the way, truth and life, will grant you stability - spiritually, mentally and physically. Isaiah 33:6 “and wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times and strength of salvation; the fear of the lord is his treasure,. This scripture reaffirms this truth. The word of God is wisdom and knowledge as well your stabilizer. It is also the mirror that projects exactly the way God created you as a woman with great potential. You are indeed God’s treasure on this earth.
God even calls you a “virtuous woman; according to Proverbs 31:10, this phrase of scripture is not referring to just a particular person , no! but it is what all women have the potential to become as we work on ourselves. No matter where you are, what you are facing , God is cheering you today; take a step of faith, one step at a time, be courageous, and you will end up that super virtuous woman God is talking about.
In conclusion: remember God loves you, you are special to God. Can you make God be proud of you today? Let your smile bring out some one from his/her depressive state, Persevere in the pursuit of truth in God and encourage someone that is at the verge of giving up.
Finally, I live you with this word Matthew 5;16 ,“let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your father which is in heaven”..
