YEAR OF DOMINION

The Book of Habbakuk 2:3 clearly makes us understand that every vision or prophecy must be well understood,

Your understanding of any prophecy determines your undertaking of it. That is why I am bringing you the Prophetic Word for the New Year at this time. It is so that you can understand perfectly what you need to put in place to enable you to take dominion in the year 2011.

I believe that Adam’s lack of understanding of what he possessed (dominion) caused him to lose his authority in the Garden of Eden. It is therefore imperative that we begin to understand the dominion mandate that God has put in place for man. Read Gen 1:26

God said…..”Let us make man……”. From this scripture it is abundantly clear that dominion was in place even before man was formed. It was God’s desire for man to be in charge of all that He had created. Think on this, God created man on the fifth day, not the first day. He wanted to give man the responsibility of being in charge of all he had created.

What is Dominion?

Dominiion means to have supreme authority to govern or rule! It implies authority to be in control! God designed man to be in control. We did not put ourselves in that position. In all that God created only man was created to have dominion. That is why Adam had responsibility to give names to all God had created. Read Gen 2:19-20. This was done to enhance Adam’s dominion mentality. None of God’s creations had an Identity before Adam named it. Every sphere of the earth is for man’s dominion. Read Gen 1:26.

Man has dominion in three spheres the air, land and sea. No other creature can dominate in these three habitats. A man can build i.e. submarine in the water, travel by the air and live on the earth. Animals do not have the same privileges. Read Matthew 4:11. Jesus did here what Adam was supposed to have done. Jesus exercised His authority over the devil. Jesus had dominion but was still tempted. He used his dominion to conquer that temptation. Take empowerment to start using your dominion to conquer in every sphere in Jesus Might Name. Amen. Gen 1:28 ………Let them have dominion. It is a pity that today the opposite is the case. The trees, fruit etc have dominion over us. Drugs, alcohol, cigarettes are all made from these things. These are all addictions that have overtaken and dominated man.

My prayer for you is that as you begin to understand the power you have to dominate you will exercise this power and take your rightful place in Jesus Name.

My God Has Honoured His Word Concerning Me

I have been through a lot of very challenging and difficult times over the past year. At times my faith will fail me but I held on to a note I had written and keep by my bedside. To paraphrase – it says … I will stand in the congregation of God’s people and testify to God’s goodness towards me and my family. I read it everyday. Today, Brethren God has brought those words to pass.

I have been having difficulty with securing a right to remain visa after completing my Masters Degree. I appealed on two occasions and these were rejected. Because of this I lost my job and have not worked for over seven months. Meanwhile, I started praying with a member of this church every night and God provided a scripture – Micah 7:11. Brethren, lo and behold the decree preventing me from getting a visa was removed and I now have a valid visa to remain. Pastor Adebo also prophesied that 4 Passports will be released to some members, I keyed in and believed with all my heart and God has proved more than faithful. In the month of Divine Arrears I received my Visa.

I want to sincerely thank Pst & Pst Mrs Tomomewo and all the members who have supported me both spiritually, morally and financially

God Has Taken Away Our Reproach

My younger brother lost his job in the bank he was working almost a year ago. Things got so bad that my father had to step in and start supporting my brother and his family. This made me to worry a lot as I could imagine what my dad must have been going through. I also am not employed and could not be of help.

In the month of Divine Arrears I lifted up my voice and cried to the Lord to relieve my father of all these burdens. God answered. My brother has now secured a job in another bank.

Jesus is truly Lord and I celebrate Him gloriously.

The Hand of God & Journey Mercies

I went to Jamaica to bury my grandmother, who, to the glory of God died at the age of 110 years. All the ceremonies went well and I give God thanks. However, God wanted to use me as a vessel of help in an emergency, and a near collison. By pronouncing the blood of Jesus and praying for the people in each of the situations God received glory.

Also there was a storm on its way to ravage the island and this would have caused damage to a lot of property and lives but I stretched my hand and commanded it to be still. Before long, it was announced that the storm had been averted.

Thank You Jesus for a safe outgoing and incoming journey.

The Hand of God over My Daughter

My daughter was to go on a School trip. I was a bit reluctant to allow her to go because of her medical condition. But I believed that God would be with her and would see that she came to no harm. She went on the trip and came back safe and sound.

It is time for the children of Zion to rise up and begin to accept responsibility for bringing lost souls to Christ.

Read Isaiah 13:1-3.  God is calling the noble, the mighty and the sanctified to rise up in holy anger and begin to break the powers of the forces of evil hampering God’s people from entering into their designated places in destiny.

Many people out there have been destined for salvation and God is urging us His children in this scripture to come together with the force of a multitude and raise our voices to make a tumultuous noise (in prayer).  This will shake and unsettle the forces of evil and force them to remove their hands from off the blessings of God’s people.  The kingdom of the heathen can be brought down by corporate prayer.

There are qualities you must possess to become a  noble, a sanctified and a mighty child of God.

· The first quality is that you should live a life  dedicated to seeing God exalted on the earth. Isaiah 13:2.  For example, you must have the strong desire to see people set free from addiction, alcoholism etc.

· You must be willing to be used as an instrument by God to bring the powers that are holding people down to naught. And most importantly to turn the battle back to the gate.

In the book of 1Kings chapter 19:9-17. We see how God’s people had more or less rebelled against God.  Elijah was commanded by God to anoint Jehu as King. Anointing in this context is authorisation.  After Jehu’s anointing the authority to slay came.

The Lord will grant you the slayers anointing to deal a deadly blow on the forces of darkness

that have refused to let the captives become liberated from sin and addiction. Read 2Corin 4:4.

Prayer is a pivotal force.  Your harvest is determined by the prayers raised to heaven.  I declare to you that everything and anyone that has hitherto held the prophetic promises over your life from manifesting is broken this hour in Jesus Name. Amen.

In Acts Chapter 13.  We see how the disciples could make no headway because of  Elymas the Sorcerer.  Read also Acts 16 vs 16.

You need to understand that you need to ask the Holy Spirit to help you reveal the root of whatever is not of God in your life.  Without His help there is no conquering or overcoming your obstacles. Say this prayer: “Lord the thing that I cannot see that is disturbing me execute judgement for me by the Blood of Jesus”.

Welcome to the 12^th Month of the year; The month of delivery according to 2 Kings 25:27-28.  I decree that all your imprisoned blessings will be released in this 12^th month in the Mighty Name of Jesus. Amen.

Master a day and master your life. Read 1 Corinthians 13.  Christians are more concerned with what they want.  But the challenge is how to go about getting it. Stop building on miracles and start building on principles.  Love being the major principle.  Until we move away from being children and grow up into sons a lot of what God has ordained for us will be inaccessible.

The book of 1 Corinthians clearly outlines the fact that without love everything in life is meaningless.  Whatever you aspire to be, whatever power or knowledge of spiritual things you may possess if you cannot love or you fail to love, you and everything you possess is worthless!  Much of your achievement in spiritual things and physical things is based and hinged on love!

Love will cause you to obey God’s commandments. By obeying God’s commandments you are ensuring that the promises in the Word become flesh, in other words,  physical manifestations – proof of the faithfulness of God.

The Bible clearly explains in the book of John. Jesus is the Word but became flesh to fulfil God’s promise for his people.  This simply means that if you want what is written to become flesh in your life – obedience to God’s word is of paramount importance.

We need to change our habits for anything of a divine nature to occur in our lives.  When you live a life filled with love, even to those not worthy of your love – you experience an open heaven every day of your life on the earth.

It is time to put away childish things.  Read 1 Corinthians 13:11.  The first step to becoming a man is to “come to yourself”.  Read the Story of the Prodigal Son in Luke 15.

Church, it is time to put away petty grudges, pride and all the things our God hates and begin to operate in love.

It is the love of God that takes you from a Child to a matured son.  It empowers you to tolerate each other.  It is this same love that will mould you into a vessel fit for the master’s use.
